On this website I share my work as a photographer, as a psychologist, and how these two wolds are combined for me and how I can combine them for you.

Photography in Therapy

-Photography in therapy is an approach that integrates the use of photographs into the therapeutic process to support emotional expression, self-exploration and healing. it can involve taking photographs, looking at personal or found images, or using photos at prompts for conversation and reflection. this method offers a visual and creative way for persons to access feelings, memories and experiences that may be hard to articulate with words. forsome, images can expresss what language cannot – offering a safe starting point to explore complex emotions, past experiences or personal identity.

Photography in therapy can be used in many ways, such as

– Inviting clients to take photos that represent their emotions, challenges or sources of strength
– Using old photographs to explore relationships, memories or life stories
– Creating visual journals or photobased storytelling projects
– Reflecting on symbolic or abstract images to deepen self-awareness

Through the exploration and implementation of photography in my clinical practice, I have experienced the very diverse abilities that both the use of photography and the act of hotography, can have for any person, at any given stage and place in life. This approach can be especially helpful for clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected from their inner world. it encourages creativity, mindfulness and a sense of agency – while helping to build a bridge between what is felt and what can be understood.

I am a psychologist, photographer and creative guide dedicated to exploring the intersections between mental health, art and self-expression. with a background in psychology and a deep love for photography, I help people reconnect with themselves through therapeutic conversations and imagery.

Whether I’m holding space in a therapy session or behind the camera lens, my approach is grounded, intuitive and human. i believe in meeting people where they are – with curiosity, care and respect – and walking alongside them as they rediscover clarity, confidence and creative power.

In therapy, phototherapy, or capturing moments of honesty and beauty, I offer a grounded, intuitive space for reflection, healing and transformation.
